Off To Japan! 🙂

The first destination of our adventure is Japan. Well, to get to Japan you have to go on a airplane. And that brings us here… in LAX airport. Since my dad is a platinum member of American Airlines we get to go to the lounge. And that’s where we are now… in the lounge. Sooooo…  see you guys in Japan. Bye 🙂

Day 1

So we got in Japan around 4:00 and got to our little hotel around 6:00. Since we didn’t have much time left in the day we went out for dinner. Since we are in Japan we didn’t sit on chairs, we sat on a cushion on the floor. We ate edimome, fries, Japanese prepared steak, Mac and cheese pancakes, sushimi, and sake, of course that was for my dad since I don’t drink. After, we were so tired we came right to the hotel and went to sleep. Well see you guys tomorrow.

Day 2

Since we had more time today than yesterday we did more things. We went to the imperial palace. While we started walking it started to rain. So, we were running around trying to find an umbrella.  When we finally found one we saw that the imperial palace was sadly closed that day so we couldn’t go in, but we still saw how beautiful it was.

Next we went to Shibuya to see the scramble crosswalk. We crossed it multiple times and then went shopping. We bought highlighters, a sketching pencil, and some glasses. After that we just started to walk around and check out Shibuya.

After we went to the Meiji Shrine to check it out. It was supper pretty and very green. It holds the tallest Tori in Japan. We also saw some monks roaming around the shrine. It was gorgeuos and I hope to visit it again.

After that we came home, ate dinner, and went to sleep. We are already becoming in love with Japan. See you in the next day

Day 3

In the morning we headed towards the sky tree. We went in the morning so there wouldn’t be any people, and there wasn’t. We explored a little bit and then headed out. When we were leaving that’s when everyone started  coming. And there was a lot of people. Thankfully we weren’t going to be in that mess.

Next we went a shrine. This time there wasn’t a lot of people it was only us. We looked around and then sat on a bench and rested.

After we went shopping at a big mall. My dad bought stuff for him and I bought stuff for me and my friends. We spent a decent hour in there. We also went to another mall later on and tried on a kimono.

Then we went and ate. After we ate we went to a sweets shop. It was so big and was filled with delicious things to eat. After we went to the hotel, ate our sweets, and then went to sleep. It was very fun today and it will also be tomorrow, by guys:)

Day 4

In the morning we went to Shinkansen (the bullet train) to go from Tokyo to Kyoto. It went super fast at around a little over 200 mph.

After we ate a little something and, you guest it…more shrines.( I know, we do visit a lot of shrines). These ones was so pretty as we saw so many people dressed in Kimonos.

After we saw a little shop saying caricatures. We decided to go in and I got my first ever caricature. It looked so cool. Well bye and see you guys tomorrow.

Day 5

Today we woke up in the early morning to go to fushimi inari with is another beautiful place in Japan. It is decorated in many many rows of gorgeous red Tories. We went early. but there was still many people there.

Next we went shopping for a kimono for me. At first we didn’t find any my size. It was either way to big or way to small. We finally entered in a mall that had a section just for kimonos. When we found some my size we tried them on too see which one I wanted. When we went out of the mall we went to a restaurant where we ate on the ground by the river. Today was great and I’m excited to see what tomorrow will bring us.

(As you can probably see we bought the red, white, orange, and yellow one) -Alexandra Sandu

Day 6

Since in the morning its not as hot during the day we went to the monkey park. It was super cool as we got super close to the monkeys. We were even allowed to feed them. Before we went to the park we went to breakfast… were I lost my phone. But its ok and its just a phone.

Next we went on the bullet train back to Tokyo where we stayed at a fancy hotel until tomorrow. Sadly tomorrow we have to leave Japan. But we will happily say hello to Bali. Bye Japan it was nice meeting you.
