Day 1
To start off our trip we woke up at the early hour of 3 am and left to the airport. We stayed in the plane for a measly two hours but made sure that we used this time wisely and slept. Once we arrived we grabbed our luggage and took a 45 minute bus to Venice, to our delight the ticket was only 10 euro per person. From there we jumped on a water bus and headed to the hotel. Once we had arrived at our hotel we dropped off our luggage and then went to grab a bite.
After getting off the water bus and dropping of our luggage we took a short stroll to Palazzo Ducale where we were bombarded with the stunning view of Piazza San Marco . Once we finished the tour of the Palace we sat down to rest a bit at a nice outdoor restaurant. We got a little hungry so we decided to get lunch, of course we got pizza! When we were statisfied with our meal we did a little shopping. We stopped my Max&co. and got me a bright lime color jacket filled with goose feathers. By now we were passed out so we took a quick nap and then went back out to adventure.
When we were all rested up we went back out to explore a little more and to get dinner. Since we’ve only slept about 5 hours in total we quickly stopped by to get gelato and then went back to the hotel. Today was definetly a day to remember and I’m sure tommorow will be too, I can’t wait!

Day 2
Thankfully we got a better sleep than the past night so we were ready to have a full day of fun. We definetely didn’t want to miss the Tizian and Ruben’s museum so we made a little pit stop on the morning to see it. We only stayed about 40 minutes and then left to go to get on the water bus.
We took the water bus to Tronchetto where we then took a bus to Piove De Noventa to do some shopping. We stayed there for about 4 hours and then took a bus back where we got another water bus back to the hotel. We quickly got dinner at a American restaurant and then went back to the hotel to sleep. It’s so sad that it has already been half of our stay here in Venice bit were gonna make the most of the other half of the stay!

Day 3
In the morning we woke up and went to the bridge ‘Rialto’ were we took a couple of pictures and then went to walk around for a bit. After we got lost for a while we managed to find our way back to near the hotel where we got some lunch at a local place where we then rested for a bit.
Once we rested we took a water bus to the island ‘Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute’ . We walked around exploring every inch of the island and then hoped on another water bus where we went to two hotels to be sadly let down that dinner was not open at that time. Thankfully we found a nice restarant at which we ate at and then went back to the hotel and started to work on our blog. So I write to you guys from the hotel wish you a happy holidays! One more day to go!

Day 4
Since today was a pretty short day we decided to keep it simple and put it all into a video. Anyways as you probably can see the first thing that we did was go on the gondola. We went past William Shakespeare’s house and Mozart’s. Fun fact is that all the colored poles in front of the old houses are the colors of the family’s crest. We then went to go eat lunch where we stopped by an old shop to buy a mask for me. During lunch they put on a show on the walls saying Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! 🎄 🎁 On the way back to the hotel we stopped by the biggest candy shop I’ve ever seen! Once we rested a bit we took the water bus and ate dinner. Once we finished we went back to the hotel and packed for tomorrow’s flight. See you next time Venice! ❤️
