Day 1
This trip started off different then our others, this time we were going by car… A ROAD TRIP to Vegas!!! The drive took about 5 hours in total including the occasional stop along the way. Thankfully we didn’t have to wake up so early this time as we would leave 10 and hopefully arrive at around 3, which we did. Along the way we saw a really big Amazon warehouse, giant rainbow ice creams in the middle of the desert and a lot of rocks. We also had to stop a couple of times for drinks some oil for the car, etc…

When we finally got to the hotel and parked our car up front (not in the parking lot) to check in our car stopped, it wouldn’t turn on, the key wasn’t working!!! The nice man at the check in helped us and said we could by a spare battery at a Walgreens next to us. When we finally parked our car for real and checked into our room we couldn’t believe what we saw!!! Our room was the most spectacular thing I’ve ever seen, It came with our own living room, a TV inside of our bathroom, and automatic curtains.

We took a quick break before we headed downstairs to relax and cool off at the pool as it was over 100 F outside! In that time we managed to score a reservation at one of Las Vegas’s greatest restaurants…Allegro! We went upstairs took a quick shower and then headed for the mall, when we arrived at the mall everything was closing, we came too late :C By now we were starving as we skipped out on lunch so we headed to the restaurant. We ate amazing food and then took the car for a drive around Las Vegas at night. It was BEAUTIFUL, the lights lit up every aspect of the city, even CVS had lights! By the time we got back to the hotel we were passed out and ready for another day tomorrow. Peace out!

Day 2
Today was a late morning although I suppose sleeping more hours is better for you. When we finally got out of our room we grabbed a quick bite to one of the stalls inside of the hotel’s lobby and then headed out to see the Venetian Hotel, we heard that the inside looks just like Venice! We took a couple pictures when we were inside and saw some gondolas along the way. To my surprise even the building inside had small shops exactly like in Italy.

After that we went to the pool to cool off and write on our blog. We forgot to take pictures so I can’t show you but it was wonderful, it was really refreshing and helped take the heat off. We headed back to the room to take a shower and relax and then went to dinner at a Chinese restaurant. We ate some pot stickers which are like dumplings hat had pork and vegetables inside of them. For our main course I had drunken noodles and my dad had some prawns.

We then headed to the Bellagio Hotel where we saw a beautiful arrangement of flowers in the shape of Hello Kitty and more just like Japan. We also checked out the Bellagio’s famous fountain show that you can enjoy for free. The lights really tied the whole show together, along with the jumping water fountains. We then walked to Caesars palace to walk around a little bit where we ran into Hell’s kitchen! We then went to go visit the world’s largest ferris wheel where we got a great view of Las Vegas at night. By then we were passed out so we grabbed an ice cream and then went home and got ready for another day.
